In this dynamic Commissioning Engineer position within the engineering & design sector, you will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary engineering teams and international clients. Responsibilities
• Take complete ownership of system testing, and commissioning through to final customer acceptance.
• Work directly with cross-functional engineering teams and clients during design reviews and on-site implementations as a lead Commissioning Engineer.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical challenges, identify root causes, and document actionable technical solutions.
• Train client operators and maintenance staff on best practices for machine setup, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints to ensure precise system assembly and operation.
• Serve as the primary technical field liaison, delivering pristine customer service and representing brand excellence globally.
Qualifications
• Expert knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, mechatronics, and high-speed automated packaging machinery.
• Strong diagnostic skills for root-cause electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering schematics and technical blueprints.
• Outstanding interpersonal and technical communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality technical training and mentorship to client operators and maintenance technicians.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 4+ years of hands-on commissioning experience as a Commissioning Engineer with automated equipment or packaging machinery.
• Proven background in reading and analyzing complex technical schematics.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 50% globally for customer deployments.
• Valid passport and driver's license for travel requirements.
