The primary mission of the Compliance Data Entry Clerk will be to support a significant backlog project focused on verifying Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) information. In a fast-paced distribution environment, maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance data is paramount. This information directly impacts worker safety, environmental protection, and the company's legal obligation to adhere to strict Canadian regulations. Your work will be the backbone of this project, ensuring that all product information is correctly documented, verified, and aligned with federal standards.

Responsibilities
-Diligently review and transfer complex regulatory data from a variety of source documents, including new and updated Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) forms, into a centralized Excel-based tracking system.
-Perform detailed data verification and comparison, meticulously cross-referencing information to identify and correct any discrepancies, errors, or outdated data points.
-Ensure all data aligns with established Canadian compliance regulations for SDS and TDG, flagging any non-compliant or missing information for review by the compliance team.
-Maintain and update tracking logs or project files to provide clear visibility on the progress of the backlog.
-Guarantee the highest level of data integrity and accuracy for all entered information, understanding the critical nature of compliance data.
-Communicate effectively with the team lead to clarify any data inconsistencies or ask questions to ensure accuracy.
-Manage a high volume of data entry and verification tasks efficiently, working to meet project deadlines for this 2-3 month assignment.
-Uphold strict confidentiality and security protocols for all sensitive compliance data.
Qualifications
-Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Compliance Administrator, or in a similar administrative role.
-Demonstrable knowledge and practical understanding of compliance and Canadian regulations, specifically related to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Transportation ofDangerous Goods (TDG).
-Advanced, testable skills in Microsoft Excel.
-Experience in a distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or retail environment is a strong asset.
-Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
-Must be eligible to work in Canada
