POSITION: Compliance Risk Assessment Specialist
TYPE: 12-month contract with possibility of extension/permanence
LOCATION: Great location in downtown Montreal
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week (with 1 day of telework)
START DATE: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
Program Execution: Perform a lead role in all phases of the Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) program, including strategic campaign planning, launching, execution, reporting, and tracking action plans.
Reporting & Frameworks: Assist CTL management in establishing clear, valuable reporting of CRA results to inform executive management and enhance the broader compliance framework.
Process Reengineering: Coordinate efforts to reengineer the risk assessment reporting process to identify and deliver substantial efficiency gains for both Advisory and Risk teams.
Technology Initiatives: Assist in implementing technology initiatives and functional design development to simplify compliance frameworks for both Risk Assessment and Testing & Monitoring teams.
Taxonomy Mapping: Collaborate with team members to maintain an accurate mapping of business lines and risk assessment units to the global Compliance Risk Taxonomy.
KRI & Data Management: Collect, maintain, and analyze Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and environmental data, utilizing trending and correlation analysis while driving automation of data collection processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Formulate actionable recommendations for efficiency gains, develop User Acceptance Test (UAT) materials, and liaise closely with senior stakeholders to escalate critical developments.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications: Bachelors degree in a busines related field
Experience: 7+ years of relevant industry experience working independently with large, complex, and fragmented datasets.
Languages: English only is required, with strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate with US partners. Software Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
