Responsibilities
Collaborative Security Modeling: Convene and lead interactive architecture workshops alongside cross-functional technology teams to align on security baselines.
Security Blueprint Authoring: Independently draft comprehensive security architecture dossiers, strategic roadmaps, and baseline control documentation.
Risk & Compliance Valuations: Conduct structured information security risk assessments and validate technical compliance health checks for incoming infrastructure components.
Cross-Domain Integration: Collaborate with infrastructure, storage (SAN), backup, networking, and physical security specialists to synthesize their unique operational constraints into unified security deliverables.
Strategic Advisory: Act as a core subject matter expert for Project Managers, guiding them on the planning, timeline, and deployment of secure solution architectures.
Qualifications
Extensive professional experience operating as a Cybersecurity Architect or Senior Security Advisor, ideally within a large public institution or heavily regulated environment.
Demonstrated expertise in threat modeling, authoring structural security designs, and conducting formal risk and compliance analyses.
Strong multi-disciplinary technical literacy across networks, storage arrays, system backup frameworks, and modern infrastructure engineering.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure teams and project managers.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties.
