Your main mandate will be to oversee all construction operations, bringing sharp technical expertise to support project managers and optimize project delivery.
•Ensure the strategic and operational direction of construction projects, from start-up to final delivery, guaranteeing adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
•Act as the ultimate technical reference for the team (methodology, product specifications, building envelope, structure) to resolve complex challenges on construction sites.
•Mentor, train, and develop a team of project managers and superintendents, fostering knowledge sharing and technical skill enhancement.
•Actively participate in internal process improvement by integrating technological tools (such as ACC) and innovative management methods drawn from your external experience.
•Collaborate closely with estimation and accounting departments to ensure project profitability, whether private (high-rise residential) or public (institutional tenders).
•Maintain strong business relationships with partners, subcontractors, and clients while skillfully navigating an evolving environment.
Qualifications
The ideal profile combines a solid academic background with significant field experience in Quebec.
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
•Member in good standing of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) or the OAQ (Ordre des architectes du Québec) – Strict requirement.
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar construction management or direction role in Quebec.
•Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects ($50M+ projects).
•Mixed experience in private projects (real estate development) and public projects (tenders) is a considerable asset.

•Recognized technical expertise in heavy residential construction (towers, multi-story) and institutional sectors.
