Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager - Construction, your mission will be to successfully lead the projects entrusted to you. Your tasks will include:
Guaranteeing absolute adherence to project parameters (schedule, budget, profitability).
Effectively overseeing the bidding process, analyzing received submissions, and awarding contracts to partners.
Steering the production and approval of shop drawings within the crucial first weeks of the project.
Diligently managing change notices, including the preparation of budget estimates within a 48-hour timeframe.
Using a proactive management approach by updating dashboards weekly to anticipate and resolve issues.
Maintaining transparent and structured communication with the client through clear weekly follow-ups.
Ensuring a coherent vision and a solid common thread throughout the project's execution.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for a candidate with a profile that combines education and field experience. The desired qualifications are:
A bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Six to nine years of relevant experience in construction project management.
A good knowledge of building codes and on-site health and safety standards.
Experience in design-build and design management is considered a major asset.
