Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close and prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Lead the annual budget process and deliver ongoing forecasts, variance analysis, and actionable insights.
- Monitor liquidity, manage day-to-day cash needs, and optimize working capital.
- Support strategic planning through cost analysis, trend reporting, and performance metrics.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate annual audits and manage all company insurance policies.
- Mentor and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and implement financial tools and systems that improve accuracy, efficiency, and visibility.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- CPA designation (or equivalent combination of credentials and experience)
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing teams
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in financial systems and Excel
