-Precision Manufacturing and Machining: You will be responsible for designing and manufacturing precision parts for our industrial packaging equipment. This includes selecting materials, planning machining steps, and creating custom components that meet rigorous specifications.
-Operation of Machine Tools: You will need to set up and operate a variety of conventional machine tools. Your expertise will be needed for tasks on lathes, milling machines, drills, rotors, circular saws, sanders, and grinders. You will also have to adjust these machines to ensure efficient and safe production.
-Equipment Maintenance and Adjustment: Part of your job will involve repairing and adjusting production dies and tools. You will need to diagnose problems and make the necessary modifications to ensure the proper functioning of this equipment and minimize downtime.
-Interpretation of Technical Drawings: You will need to read, understand, and interpret technical plans and sketches for each project. This skill is crucial for manufacturing parts that comply with exact specifications, respecting tolerances and dimensions.
-Quality Control: The quality assurance of your parts will be your responsibility. You will have to perform rigorous checks to ensure that each part produced meets established standards before being integrated into our equipment.
-Use of Measurement Instruments: You will need to master the use of imperial precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers. The accuracy of your measurements is essential for the conformity and functionality of all parts.

Qualifications

-Professional Experience and Training: We want to hire a candidate with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in conventional machining. This experience is crucial as it ensures mastery of processes and equipment, along with the ability to work independently.
-Training: A vocational diploma (DEP) in machining, a training certificate in conventional machine tool operation, or equivalent expertise in mechanical manufacturing is an asset. We place great importance on hands-on, on-the-job expertise.
-Technical Skills and Communication: Your machining expertise is critical. You must be able to read and interpret complex technical plans and operate conventional machine tools with ease.
-Technical Bilingualism: The ability to communicate in French and have basic technical English communication skills is required. This bilingualism is essential for collaborating with suppliers, deciphering technical specifications, and working within a diverse team, ensuring precise execution of tasks.
