Responsibilities
As a Corporate Tax Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Managing the entire tax compliance process for Canadian and U.S. subsidiaries.
- Preparing and reviewing group tax provisions and U.S. and Canadian tax returns.
- Managing tax audits and identifying tax risks and opportunities.
- Monitoring the evolution of tax legislation.
- Participating in claims for tax incentives.
- Analyzing processes and developing continuous improvement solutions.
- Acting as a partner for internal and external teams internationally.
Qualifications
For this Corporate Tax Manager role, we are looking for a person with the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in taxation or the equivalent; a CPA is a very strong asset.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance.
- A good level of bilingualism is required for this role, which will involve interacting with both Canadian and U.S. teams.
- Excellent leadership skills and a proactive approach.
- The ability to communicate and advise effectively.
