Responsibilities
• Support customers via phone, email, and in person
• Process orders, inquiries, and technical quotations accurately
• Deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Confirm stock availability and recommend alternative solutions
• Follow up on outstanding quotations to close sales
• Assist with ecommerce and digital ordering inquiries
• Build strong relationships with walk-in customers
• Upsell high-margin products to support branch performance
• Assist with warehouse tasks (order picking, cutting wire, etc.)
• Receive and organize incoming inventory
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of counter sales or customer service experience
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Solid computer skills (ERP/CRM systems preferred)
• Team-player mindset with a hands-on approach
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Assets:
• Experience in electrical distribution or related industry
• Familiarity with AS400 or Microsoft Dynamics
• Electrical product knowledge or apprenticeship experience
