For this specific role in our sales division, English proficiency is required to effectively communicate with our local customer base, external manufacturing partners, and the internal branch team on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
• Directly service customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions on a daily basis.
• Process daily orders, inquiries, and technical quotations efficiently and accurately.
• Consistently achieve and maintain a remarkably high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and proactively suggest alternative products to meet customer needs.
• Make strategic follow-up calls to customers regarding all outstanding quotations to close sales.
• Assist customers with any inquiries related to the ecommerce platform and digital ordering.
• Greet customers warmly and build lasting professional relationships at the counter.
• Upsell high-margin consumable items to maximize branch profitability.
• Multitask effectively by picking orders, cutting wire, and assisting with warehouse duties as needed.
• Receive incoming shipments and systematically put stock away to maintain inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
• Exceptional communication abilities to foster strong customer and vendor relationships.
• Excellent multitasking and time management capabilities in a high-volume environment.
• Strong computer literacy to navigate digital tools and sales platforms seamlessly.
• Proven ability to prioritize conflicting demands effectively and make quick decisions.
• A team-player mentality with a readiness to assist across all branch functions.
• A competitive, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to learn, grow, and succeed.
• Familiarity with AS400 (ERP) and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) is considered a strong asset.
• Solid product knowledge within the electrical distribution business is highly advantageous.
• A minimum of two years of dedicated counter sales or customer service experience.
• Previous experience or knowledge within the electrical industry is strongly preferred.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to take ownership and work without micromanagement.
• Willingness to work flexible, in-office shifts (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
• Readiness to participate in one potential Saturday shift per year for physical inventory counts.
• Demonstrated history of reliable tenure and a strong, consistent work ethic.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered a significant advantage for this role.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while acting as a dedicated solution provider.
