Localize Global Brand Strategies into actionable category and customer plans tailored for the Canadian market.
Champion the Canadian consumer experience by using data-driven insights to manage the SKU portfolio, pricing, and innovation.
Partner with global teams on 3-year brand strategies, providing a critical local perspective.
Manage the Canadian P&L and monitor financial performance (LE and production forecasts) to meet volume and revenue targets.
Oversee local marketing activations across social, paid, and customer channels to maximize ROI.
Category Development
Develop an annual Canadian "Category 101" to drive 3-year strategic growth.
Elevate category leadership through compelling selling stories for Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and "Top to Top" retail engagements.
Provide deep-dive analysis of the competitive landscape and multi-channel purchasing behaviors (site-to-store, marketplace trends, etc.).
Communicate actionable insights to cross-functional groups to influence business direction.
Customer Strategic Planning
Apply deep knowledge of channel dynamics to guide investment decisions and assortment strategies.
Implement an Omni-channel approach, ensuring both in-store and e-commerce (.ca) requirements are integrated into launch plans.
Collaborate with sales teams to ensure pricing and promotional principles are upheld across the customer base.
Deliver and track annual strategic growth plans by customer, providing corrective actions as market conditions evolve.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (Marketing, Advertising, or Business Administration); MBA preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of strategic brand marketing/management experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
Industry Knowledge: CPG background is strongly preferred; experience managing a full P&L and budget is required.
Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization (Canada and US).
Analytical Skills: Ability to critically analyze complex data, solve problems, and present concise solutions.
Adaptability: Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and shifting direction as business needs indicate.
