Responsibilities
The successful specialist will be accountable for a range of governance and operational activities, including:
Providing comprehensive oversight of all assigned third-party relationships.
Collaborating with cross-functional and enterprise teams to enhance controls, effectively manage risks, and streamline processes.
Successfully executing on the Canada Site Assessment and the Third-Party Data Share Program.
Executing governance activities, including leading control testing and reporting, for the Third-Party Management organization.
Ensuring TPM policies, standards, procedures, and processes align with current practices, enterprise requirements, and regulatory mandates.
Remaining informed about changes in regulations and industry trends that may influence operational practices.
Participating in key management forums and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Supporting internal audit reviews, regulatory inquiries, incident management, and remediation activities pertaining to TPM.
Demonstrating the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to strict deadlines impacting speed to market.
Acting as an effective change agent and developing plans to drive efficiency through innovation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technology, or Engineering is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience within third-party management/third-party risk management within the financial services industry.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment, effectively managing business and stakeholder expectations.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of OSFI B-10 and E-21 is essential.
Assets (Preferred Certifications/Skills):
Possession of the Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, the Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) certification, or the Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) designation.
Project Management experience.
Skills: Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
