CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Precision Machining: Execute complex CNC programs to produce high-tolerance wood components.

Blueprint Interpretation: Translate architectural drawings and CAD files into physical products with absolute accuracy.

Technical Calibration: Manage meticulous machine setups and tool changes, ensuring the equipment is perfectly dialed in for every custom run.

Material Optimization: Expertly handle high-grade wood stocks to maximize aesthetic quality while minimizing waste.

WHAT YOU BRING
Proven Experience: A solid track record in CNC machining, specifically within the woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork sectors.

Technical Literacy: The ability to navigate sophisticated controller software and troubleshoot programming issues on the fly.

The "Artisan’s Eye": A nuanced understanding of wood properties and how various species react to different tooling and spindle speeds.

Responsibilities
Set up and operate wood-specific CNC machines
Load and align raw materials to prepare for machining cycles
Monitor the cutting process to ensure parts are accurate and troubleshoot any issues
Perform basic daily maintenance and cleaning to keep machines running smoothly
Follow all safety protocols and use guards to ensure a safe working environment
Inspect finished parts using calipers and hand tools to verify they match the work order
Handle and stack finished wood products carefully to prevent damage to the finish

Qualifications
3–5 years of experience operating CNC machines
Previous experience specifically within a woodworking or furniture manufacturing shop
Hands-on experience with CNC Equipment
Ability to read work orders and follow technical instructions accurately
Comfortable using manual tools like calipers, chisels, and files for fine adjustments
Strong commitment to shop safety and hazard reporting
