You will be responsible for advising B2B industrial clients, interpreting technical specifications, calculating custom dimensions, and coordinating orders from start to finish. Accurately identify and evaluate industrial client needs via phone and email.
Build sustainable business relationships, advise clients, and coordinate opportunities with outside sales reps.
Interpret and convert technical specs across imperial and metric measurement units (inches, feet, millimeters).
Prepare detailed quotes in accordance with corporate pricing guidelines.
Process client orders, purchase resale products, and coordinate with production and logistics.
Maintain rigorous order tracking with clients and external suppliers.
Perform data entry in the internal ERP system and actively participate in inventory management.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of relevant B2B customer service experience, ideally in a technical or industrial setting (parts counter, mechanics, conveyors, hardware, or construction).
High school diploma (DES) or equivalent completed.
Full proficiency in metric and imperial measurement units (inches, feet, mm) with strong mental math skills.
Perfect command of spoken and written French to serve Quebec clients effectively.
Functional spoken and written English.
Basic computer literacy (email management, basic Excel usage, and capability to learn internal software).
Customer-first attitude, autonomy, teamwork skills, and high attention to detail.
English Requirement Justification
In compliance with Bill 96 language requirements, functional English proficiency is required for this Customer Service Representative position in Laval to enable daily communication with commercial partners located outside Quebec, notably U.S.-based suppliers, as well as to collaborate with staff at the company's branch in Ontario.
