Position: Customer Service & Operations Support Representative
Duration: Temp to Perm
Compensation: $26.44/hr
Location: Mississauga, 5 days Onsite
Advantages

• Consistent weekly pay schedule while completing the temporary portion of the assignment.
• Standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities
• Perform daily office tasks
• Enter required and accurate data into Truckmate.
• Monitor scheduled arrivals and departures for service failures and communicate with all involved parties.
• Provide exceptional customer care by courteously answering phone calls, obtaining accurate information, and transferring customers to appropriate staff.
• Support dispatch operations by tracing shipments, entering appointment times and freight bills, contacting drivers, and reviewing customs paperwork.
• Manage inbound shipment ETAs to maximize efficiency and proactively update customers on any delays in pickup or delivery due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
• Coordinate team members and resources for the daily pick-up and delivery of freight.
• Handle the appointment desk by booking via portals and emails, and updating the system accordingly.
• Ensure all documentation relating to the movement of orders or shipments in or out of the facility is completed accurately.
• Understand and comply with all policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of proven customer service experience.
• Prior knowledge or experience utilizing Truckmate and Geotab software is nice to have.
• Industry experience within transportation, logistics, or 3PL is considered a strong asset.
• Comfortable working entirely on-site in a traditional, federally regulated transportation environment.
• A team-oriented mindset with a strong desire for long-term commitment and long-term career development.
