Role Overview:
Working on-site with our client's team, you will play a pivotal role in the Judgment Service & Enforcement department. Responsibilities
- Respond professionally to client inquiries and service requests via email.
- Provide clear explanations regarding service of judgment procedures and firm services via phone and email to clients in and outside Quebec.
- Prepare and file execution notices on the SOQUIJ platform.
- Manage civil enforcement files (garnishment of wages, bank account seizures, movable/immovable property seizures, pre-judgment seizures, evictions, third-party seizures, court-supervised sales, judicial officer affidavits/statutory reports, etc.).
- Train and mentor team members.
- Analyze client files and direct them toward appropriate legal steps in collaboration with judicial officers.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up on active files and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Work closely with judicial officers and colleagues to maintain fast and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain and update client databases and records in compliance with confidentiality standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of customer service experience within the legal/judicial sector.
- Education: Paralegal diploma / Legal Technology training (Technique juridique).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of court procedures and judicial officer/bailiff duties.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both French and English to communicate effectively with clients inside and outside Quebec.
- Specialized Software: Proficiency with Jurisoft 2 is considered a strong asset.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities, sharp attention to detail, and ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication skills and strong collaborative spirit.
- IT Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and specialized software tools.
