Responsibilities
• Identify overlapping parameters, metrics, and calculations across various monitoring and reporting templates to reduce duplication.
• Translate manual, upload-oriented reporting templates into analytics-ready data structures, including complex object, fact, and dimension tables.
• Lead and steward the Unified Business Object model for regulatory domains by defining core business objects, attributes, and relationships.
• Define and enforce structural standards, including row-level grain, column consistency, versioning, corrections, and historical traceability.
• Document a traceable record of architectural decisions and translate finalized data model designs into technical engineering specifications.
• Design data structures that support advanced analytical use cases such as aggregations, trend analysis, and anomaly detection.
• Establish a structured model feedback loop with data analysts to review validation findings and plan for smooth schema evolution.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working as a Data Architect, designing, planning, implementing, and supporting enterprise solution databases in a large, complex public sector environment.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience documenting enterprise solution databases and utilizing enterprise architecture principles, standards, tools, and processes.
• Proven experience designing data plans and models that align an organization's technology with business capabilities, ideally using tools like PowerDesigner, ER Studio, or Erwin.
• Strong background in agile sprint development and experience designing data structures optimized for advanced analytics and business intelligence products like Power BI.
• A completed College or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field of study, with a professional TOGAF certification considered a strong asset.
