Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed profiling of legacy data marts and map specifications for the enterprise data warehouse.
• Identify required dimensions for facts and complete detailed data table profiling.
• Develop and test extract transform load processes to move data efficiently.
• Build and test Power BI reports to validate quality assurance across dimensions and facts.
• Design and manage enterprise data architectures, standards, and mapping models.
• Establish and participate in architectural reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Create transition plans that guide existing data structures to their future state.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in public sector environments with knowledge of privacy rules like FOIP.
• At least 5 years of experience in data architecture assessment, data profiling, and data mart design.
• At least 5 years of experience using data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner, ERWin, or Visio.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI, and judicial database processes.
