Responsibilities
• Review existing data marts and complete detailed data profiling across legacy database structures.
• Facilitate the effective definition and management of data architecture principles, strategies, and design standards.
• Promote reusable data models and practices that reduce data redundancy across enterprise systems.
• Analyze and create design mapping specifications, identifying required dimension and fact tables.
• Develop and test Extract Transform Load processes while staging required data for reporting structures.
• Create interactive Power BI reports to support quality assurance testing across dimensions and facts.
• Provide technical guidance, advice, and architectural reviews to project teams to ensure framework compliance.
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience defining data architecture and using Kimball architecture to develop data marts.
• Proven hands-on experience with SQL languages including Microsoft T-SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, and database development.
• Relevant training completed within the past 5 to 10 years focused on Cloud Computing, Microsoft Azure, and Azure Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working within public-sector environments with awareness of FOIP legislation.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field experience.
