Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into effective and reusable technical components and data models for platforms like Snowflake and BigQuery.
Design and configure technical solutions for the entire data ecosystem, including BI warehouses, data lakes, and ML platforms.
Act as a technical leader for the data delivery team, ensuring the integrity of the design is preserved throughout development.
Configure and optimize CI/CD (DevOps) environments to improve the efficiency of data solution delivery.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, security teams, and business analysts to ensure solutions are robust, compliant, and aligned with corporate strategy.
Provide expert support for the operationalization of data platforms, including monitoring and performance diagnostics.
Qualifications
Core Expertise: Solid, demonstrated experience in data modeling within modern cloud environments such as BigQuery and Snowflake is required.
Experience: Over 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on data engineering, data platforms, or data transformation.
Technical Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, DataBricks, Spark), data storage (e.g., Snowflake, Azure DataLake), and data science tools (e.g., Python, Azure ML).
Methodologies: Mastery of development lifecycle frameworks and methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, and SDLC.
Leadership Skills: Natural leader with the ability to influence technical teams, communicate complex concepts clearly, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Languages: Professional fluency in English and a functional knowledge of French are required.
Asset: Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
