Responsibilities
Operational & Support Tasks
- Job Monitoring: Monitor daily and weekly automated data processing jobs to ensure smooth and successful execution.
- Routine Processing: Execute scheduled business procedures related to data processing and enterprise reporting.
- Data Quality: Validate data accuracy and completeness across various interconnected systems.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and diagnose failed processing jobs, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent bug fixes.
- Data Integrity: Maintain ongoing data accuracy and reliability within the core data warehouse environment.
Development & Enhancement
- Database Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain stored procedures using SQL and Snowflake (including Python-based logic).
- Pipeline Automation: Build and enhance Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data integration and transformation.
- Template & Release Management: Update and manage Azure pipeline templates while supporting deployments for ADF and Azure Synapse projects using Azure DevOps and Git.
- Application Maintenance: Maintain and improve in-house support applications built with Python and Java.
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Technical Support & Operations: Demonstrated experience troubleshooting data pipeline failures, root-cause analysis, and job monitoring.
- Core Database & Cloud Data: Strong proficiency with SQL and Snowflake database environments.
- Programming Languages: Solid hands-on development experience using Python and Java.
- Azure Cloud Suite: Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Functions.
- CI/CD & Version Control: Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git for version control and deployment pipelines.
- Language Skills: Fluent English (written and spoken).
