Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery Leadership: Direct the complete lifecycle of major Salesforce programs—from initial requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, release, and ongoing post-launch stability.
Team Empowerment: Manage and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional delivery team comprised of developers, business analysts, QA engineers, and external vendor partners.
Agile Governance & Execution: Maintain rigid sprint discipline by overseeing backlog grooming, capacity planning, velocity tracking, sprint reviews, and comprehensive release coordination.
Architectural Alignment: Partner closely with solution architects to validate that technical configurations comply with global standards for security, data modeling, scalability, and reusability across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Health, Experience, Data).
Vendor Ecosystem Management: Supervise third-party delivery vendors at an operational level, ensuring rigorous adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and daily sprint alignment.
Continuous Innovation: Drive the adoption of advanced engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipeline maturity, and the integration of AI-assisted development tools.
Compliance & Security: Ensure all software engineering workflows strictly embed quality assurance and security-by-design to meet stringent regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
Leadership Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years of strategic leadership, people management, and portfolio planning within enterprise-scale organizations.
Salesforce Expertise: Proven track record delivering complex, multi-org Salesforce programs. Extensive exposure to Sales, Service, Health, or Marketing Clouds is required.
Advanced Salesforce Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Salesforce architecture, integration models, Field Service capabilities, and next-generation tools like Agentic AI.
Industry Knowledge: Experience designing or delivering digital solutions for Patient Support Programs (PSP) or the broader life sciences/healthcare sector is highly advantageous.
Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional financial acumen managing large-scale program budgets, paired with the ability to build consensus among senior business executives and technical teams.
Preferred Certifications: Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect credentials are a strong asset.
