Responsibilities
Analyze historical sales trends, promotional plans, and market intelligence to develop accurate demand forecasts.
Assign and maintain forecasting models using statistical tools and techniques.
Prepare monthly forecasts by item, customer, and sales team to support production planning based on net requirements.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to gather input and align forecasts with business objectives.
Collect and analyze customer data, point-of-sale data, forecasts, and inventory levels to ensure accurate demand planning.
Set the agenda and lead monthly forecast collaboration meetings with the commercial team.
Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust models as needed to improve performance.
Identify and communicate demand planning risks and opportunities to the S&OP team.
Track forecast performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize forecast variances.
Regularly review, update, and improve demand planning procedures and processes.
Support the implementation of demand planning tools and industry best practices.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Power BI dashboards is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to build strong, productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with forecasting tools and software.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable forecasts.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
Skilled in presenting data clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
ASCM and/or IBF certification is considered an asset.
Experience with Microsoft D365 is an asset.
