Contract Duration: 1 year (high potential for extension up to 2 years and conversion to FTE)
Advantages

Responsibilities
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders (Business, Category Managers, Finance, Suppliers) to obtain data required to determine how to most effectively transition spend into automated procurement tools.
• Identify users that will require transition into digital procurement platforms as a result of enablement and partner with supporting teams (IT, related functions) to identify dependencies and action appropriately.
• Execute enablement and transaction setup activities (such as catalog development) to facilitate successful transition of supplier spend into procurement tools (e.g., Ivalua).
o Supplier Record Readiness: Ensure supplier records are accurate and complete for issuing requisitions, purchase orders, and processing invoices/payments.
o Contract Readiness: Validate that contracts are referenced correctly and aligned with business requirements.
o Buying Channels and Invoice Channels: Align buying channels and invoice processes with procurement strategy, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
o Change Management: Drive internal and external change management activities to support supplier enablement and adoption of digital tools.
• Develop processes, tools, and systems to maintain catalog databases and keep them up-to-date.
• Create catalog best practices and develop tools/templates to streamline and standardize digital procurement practices from a strategic sourcing perspective.
• Identify opportunities for catalog deployment with internal stakeholders and vendor community.
• Develop electronic catalogs (eCatalogs) to enable local-level ordering and centralized visibility where required.
• Ensure eCatalogs are integrated into procure-to-pay processes and systems (e.g., Ivalua).
• Update, maintain, and track all articles in the relevant eCatalog system(s).
• Conduct analysis and report on procurement-related metrics (e.g., compliance, terms).
• Leverage existing tools to make recommendations on effective approaches to transition existing suppliers into digital procurement platforms.
• Review and validate supplier contracts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procurement policies.
o Determine how each contract fits into existing procure-to-pay buying channels (e.g., catalog-based, non-catalog, punchout).
o Assess contract structure and terms to identify the most efficient way to enable purchasing within Ivalua.
o Define purchase order setup requirements based on contract details, including:
o Spend allocation and limits.
o PO and line-item structure for catalog or non-catalog orders.
• Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the manager/ project lead
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 5 years of relevant experience with procurement technologies (preferably Ivalua).
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with various levels within the organization.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and be self-driven.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Applicable certifications (Ivalua or similar procurement platforms) considered a plus.
2. Advanced MS Excel expertise (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros) considered an asset.
3. Applicable industry experience (Procurement, Retail) considered a strong asset.
Education:
• Undergraduate Degree
