In this role, you will serve as a regional tax and estate planning subject matter expert. You will deliver advanced planning advice to end clients through financial advisors, support sales teams, and provide education on tax-efficient products and solutions. This is a hybrid/remote position based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), requiring daily local travel to meet with clients and advisors at their offices.

Responsibilities
•Deliver sophisticated tax and estate planning advice to clients through financial advisors, optimizing tax-efficient insurance solutions.
•Partner with the Regional Sales Director to equip regional sales teams with up-to-date tax and estate planning insights.
•Engage directly with High-Net-Worth clients and their legal and accounting advisors to identify wealth, business succession, and estate planning opportunities.
•Design and deliver educational workshops, seminars, and training materials for financial advisors and client groups.
•Lead complex case development, including case research, specialized financial illustrations, and custom planning scenarios.
•Create and deploy reference and marketing tools supporting proprietary financial planning concepts, tax strategies, and compliance standards.
•Conduct ongoing research to remain current on personal/corporate tax laws and industry trends.
Qualifications
•Designations: Active CPA, LL.B, or FCIA designation is required.
•Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
•Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience within the financial services sector.
•Tax Expertise: Deep expertise in personal and corporate taxation, including trusts, wills, charitable gifting, Retirement Compensation Arrangements (RCAs), and business succession planning.
•Asset: Completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Program and the In-Depth Tax Issues for the Owner-Manager Business course.
