Responsibilities
Ensure a constant and ample supply of clean dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and trays for both SWR and CWR (Swedish Restaurant for customers = SWR, Coworker Restaurant for co-workers = CWR), adhering strictly to Food Safety Standards.
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dish machine and by hand.
Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with established safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
Proactively clear tables and return clean items to their designated stations to uphold a pristine dining environment.
Uphold all food handling, health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines with diligence.
Manage waste disposal according to environmental policies and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals.
Execute assigned dish room opening and closing routines efficiently.
Collect tray trolleys from both dining areas and perform lobby cleaning as needed.
Contribute to a positive guest experience by meeting or exceeding convenience standards.
Qualifications
Comfort working effectively in a physically demanding, fast-paced restaurant setting.
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and established procedures accurately.
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Thorough understanding of and commitment to food safety and sanitation regulations.
Prior experience with dishwashing equipment and cleaning procedures is considered an asset.
