The Lead Dispatcher acts as the leader of the dispatch team. He/she works directly with the dispatchers, also performs dispatching and validates that operations are well executed according to company standards.

Responsibilities
-Supervise and support the dispatchers in their daily tasks
-Ensure that work procedures are followed
-Validate the quality of the work performed by the dispatchers
-Intervene quickly in case of error or problematic situation
-Take incoming calls for road repairs
-Assign calls to mechanics in the best possible way
-Ensure rigorous monitoring with clients until the end of the work
-Check that dispatchers are properly tracking calls and interventions
-Ensure that deadlines are met and that the service is efficient
- Identify possible improvements in operations
-Maintain clear communication between dispatchers, mechanics, and customers
-Carry out certain administrative tasks related to operations
-Participate in the organization and improvement of processes
Qualifications
-Bilingualism French and English to communicate with clients outside of Quebec
-Experience in dispatch (minimum 2-3 years)
-Experience in the mechanical or transport field (important asset)
-Natural leadership and ability to lead a team
-Excellent management of priorities and stress
-Autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills
-Good communicator and team spirit
