We are looking for a dynamic and organized Dispatcher / Shipping Coordinator to join our Distribution Center team in Varennes. In this essential role, you will support the main dispatcher in daily operations, ensuring that shipments of construction materials reach our clients' sites, homes and other construction sites directly and efficiently. Pay ranges between 28$/hr and 32$/hr (58,240k to 66,500k)

Responsibilities
- Take charge of the dispatch duties and day-to-day operations (e-mail, telephone);
- Assign appropriate drivers to appropriate shipments and routes;
- Follow up with customers on out-of-stock products and special orders;
- Correct orders accurately and inform various departments of problems
- Complete invoicing in the system, upon return of deliveries
- Maintain various registers on a daily basis: delivery, road safety, and any other information deemed relevant;
- Ensure proper loading of the shipments into the truck
- Replace Dispatch Leader when required
Qualifications
Experience in Dispatch or a similar role is required
Experience or knowledge of constructions materials is an asset
Fluency in French (spoken and written) is required
Ability to work in a very fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Great comfort with a paper-based workload and manual entries.
Availability for a morning shift: Ideally a start time of 5:00 or 6:00 in the morning, but we are flexible to start between 7:00 and 8:00 if needed
