Advantages

- 40 hour work week
- Salary between $55,000 and $65,000

Responsibilities
-Manage dispatch mailbox and ensure prompt follow-up.
-Add and remove units (vehicles) in the dispatch system.
-Send loading authorizations and respond to driver requests.
-Update dock locations for GM, CN and Honda.
-Configure, track and troubleshoot drivers' mobile devices.
-Maintain Anydesk address book with unattended access and active plugins.
-Check that all doors, gates and sensitive areas are locked.
-Manage access via the Igloohome application (additions and deletions).
-Make hotel reservations for drivers with Choice account.
-Update Super Dispatch when orders are delivered in Magnus.
-Manage Pipeline, Irving and Comdata fuel cards (additions, deletions, follow-up).
-Open maintenance tickets in MIR in the event of a breakdown reported by a driver.
-Monitor loads in transit for more than 5 days with external brokers.
-Check daily for non-dischargeable units, update status, notify relevant teams.
-Extract and track weekly backlog reports, communicate with CN or manufacturers.
-Add non-model orders to Magnus and decode them.
-Manage âSnowbirdsâ loads and deliveries in Transnet and Magnus.
-Produce spot purchase reports for Ford.
-Manage Honda holds in the absence of the colleague in charge.
-Generate and maintain Toyota reports.
-Update loads from external carriers and follow up as required.
Qualifications
-Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written)
-Degree in transportation logistics or relevant certification;
-Minimum 2 years experience in a logistics and/or dispatching position;
-Excellent command of M365;
-Experience working with unionized drivers (asset)
-Proficiency with transportation management software (e.g. Magnus, Super Dispatch, Transnet, MIR);
-Ability to use and quickly learn technological tools such as Anydesk, Igloohome, or other mobile tracking systems;
-Strong organizational, priority management and multi-tasking skills;
-Ability to work under pressure and independently;
-Attention to detail and rigor in data entry and updating;
-Service orientation, team spirit and proactive attitude to resolve problems quickly;
-Available to work flexible hours or after-hours in case of emergency (as needed)
-Any other related duties;
