We are seeking, on behalf of our client located in Montréal, a Quality Assurance Specialist – Hardware who is passionate about continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality standards. You will join a well-established company specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-tech flight simulation equipment. This key role involves ensuring product compliance, conducting internal and supplier audits, managing non-conformities, and actively contributing to process optimization. If you are detail-oriented, autonomous, and have strong analytical skills, this opportunity is for you.
Day shift
Location: Montréal
Salary: Starting at $75,000+, depending on experience
Company type: High-tech manufacturing
Language requirement: Fluent French required; English is a strong asset
Important: Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents to obtain Controlled Goods clearance.

Responsibilities
• Ensure product quality compliance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle
• Plan and conduct internal and supplier audits
• Manage non-conformities: analysis, disposition, and corrective actions
• Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) meetings and technical follow-ups
• Verify and validate manufacturing processes
• Develop quality plans, inspection, and testing standards
• Implement continuous improvement projects on the production floor
• Analyze data to identify recurring issues
• Promote a strong quality culture within the organization
Qualifications
• DEC in mechanical, electrical, or related technical field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
• Experience with quality audits (internal and supplier)
• Understanding of industrial processes (machining, assembly, sheet metal, etc.)
• Fluent in French (English is a strong asset)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Detail-oriented, structured, and solution-focused mindset
