This position is located in Montreal and requires you to travel during the day, on weekdays. Flexibility is key, as you will need to travel to Ontario or the United States about once a month. All expenses are paid, and while you'll use your own vehicle, mileage will be reimbursed!
The salary is around $80,000 per year. Training and most interactions with partners are in English, but our team is bilingual.
The position is available immediately. Please note that Canadian citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory due to the frequent travel outside of the province.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this electrical system installation and automation technician in Montreal include several key aspects of maintenance and installation:
PLC & HMI Programming and Integration: Design and program automation systems using recognized platforms like Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
Fabrication and Wiring: Build and assemble control panels in accordance with electrical schematics to ensure system functionality.
Installation and Commissioning: Perform on-site installation and electrical connection of equipment for partners, ensuring an efficient and safe startup.
Quality Control and Compliance: Conduct thorough checks of equipment to ensure it complies with established technical specifications and quality standards.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert technical support to clients for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to optimize performance and reliability.
Mechanical Assembly: Participate in the mechanical assembly of machines in addition to the electrical installation tasks.
Qualifications

Technical Training: You must hold a relevant technical degree, such as a DEP in Electromechanics, a DEC in Electrical Engineering, or an AEC in Automation.
Significant Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role is required, preferably in the industrial maintenance or technical services sector.
Technical Skills: You must master mechanical and electrical skills, including complete electrical panel wiring from A to Z and basic PLC programming.
Language Skills: Bilingualism (French and English) is essential for this electrical installation technician to interact with clients and follow training in English.
Personal Qualities: You must possess excellent communication skills, be capable of logical thinking, and ensure flawless installation to prevent malfunctions.
