Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Maintenance: Fix and maintain electrical systems for the building and all shop machinery.
Project Work: Help build electrical panels and wire automation controls for new production builds.
Installations: Install power feeds, splitters, and receptacles for welding bays and other work areas.
Parts: Contact suppliers to find and order replacement electrical parts when needed.
Compliance: Make sure all electrical work meets standard safety codes and regulations.
Support: Carry out other shop-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Certification: Must have an Ontario 442A Industrial Electrician license.
Apprentices: 3rd-year apprentices will be considered if they have enough hands-on experience.
Troubleshooting: Good at finding and fixing electrical control issues.
Communication: Able to speak and write clearly for technical work.
Useful Skills (Assets):
Experience with PLCs, robotics, or automated welding cells.
Background in CNC machine repair or construction electrical work.
Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
