• Provide support to source and prepare parts for all preventative and reactive work.
• Read and understand technical bulletins, manuals, instructions, and blueprints.
• Participate in all maintenance team meetings and production line changeovers.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow 5S principles.
• Practice a "safety first" policy by addressing hazards, wearing personal protective equipment, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Comply with all Health & Safety, HACCP, BRC, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Qualifications
• Must be a Licensed Electrician. Proof of apprenticeship is an asset.
• 2-5 years of industrial mechanical/electrical experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex machinery, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of appropriate health & safety and environmental regulations.
• Adherence to Food Safety Protocols.
• Ability to read and understand technical blueprints and manuals.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an asset.
• Comfort with working in wet, cold, and warm environments.
• The position involves working with meat products (beef, pork, chicken, etc.).
