Our active fabrication plant in the Acheson/Spruce Grove district needs two skilled Journeyperson Electricians (or top-tier Apprentices) to step in. This 6-month contract-to-hire position gives you room to showcase your craft and earn a permanent, long-term spot. If you excel at bending rigid conduit, possess strong panel wiring skills, and thrive in a busy shop setting, we want to talk.

Competitive Pay Rates:
Journeyperson: $46.00 / hour (commensurate with top-tier experience)
4th Year Apprentice: $36.80 / hour
3rd Year Apprentice: $32.20 / hour
2nd Year Apprentice: $27.60 / hour
1st Year Apprentice: $25.30 / hour

Responsibilities
Accurately bend, route, and mount heavy rigid conduit runs for industrial machinery and large builds.
Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot complex control panels directly inside our active fabrication bay.
Interpret electrical schematics, engineering layouts, and blueprints to ensure error-free builds.
Set the standard on the shop floor, meeting key production targets while following strict safety guidelines.
Collaborate with welders, mechanics, and leads to deliver projects safely and on time.
Qualifications
Trade Credentials: Alberta Journeyperson ticket preferred; experienced apprentices with strong panel skills welcomed.
Industrial Experience: Proven track record running rigid conduit and building industrial control panels.
Safety Focused: Proactive worker with solid troubleshooting skills and an uncompromising commitment to safety.
Strong Work Ethic: Clear communicator who brings positive energy and fits well within a close-knit team.
Screening Requirements: Must be able to successfully pass a standard criminal record check and pre-employment D&A test.
