Responsibilities
As an electromechanical technician, you will become the guardian of technical performance for a leader in the optics industry in Montreal. Your role combines preventive rigor and corrective agility to optimize our industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Drive the maintenance schedule to ensure the reliability of all machinery.
Operational Startup: Prepare and validate equipment to ensure a flawless daily production start.
Technical Expertise: Diagnose, analyze root causes, and resolve equipment breakdowns (troubleshooting) with precision.
Management and Compliance: Ensure rigorous follow-up via maintenance software, adhering to manufacturer standards and established timelines.
Technical Support: Perform precision interventions (calibrations, lubrication, tool replacement) in support of the team.
Workshop Optimization: Overhaul components and perform repairs within a structured and organized workspace in Ville Saint-Laurent.
Qualifications
The ideal profile to excel as an Electromechanical Technician at our specialized optics facility in Ville Saint-Laurent:
To succeed in this strategic role within the optics industry, you must possess the following qualifications:
Education: DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Electromechanics or equivalent training in industrial maintenance.
Experience: A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in the optics sector is a major asset).
Language Skills: Proficiency in written French and functional English for seamless communication.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, mechanics, electrotechnics, and electronics.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately interpret technical diagrams (electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical) and instruction manuals.
Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, strong sense of initiative, and a passion for complex troubleshooting.
