Responsibilities
As a technical pillar of our manufacturing facility in Ville Saint-Laurent, your role as an electromechanician will be to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of our assembly lines. You will deploy your skills to carry out the following interventions:
Accurately analyze mechanical breakdowns and failures within complex automated systems.
Apply a rigorous troubleshooting methodology to resolve electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic anomalies.
Perform necessary repairs on specialized equipment, including the maintenance of CNC machining centers.
Execute the preventive maintenance schedule to minimize unplanned production downtime.
Systematically document your interventions through detailed reports on equipment status.
Ensure a safe working environment by strictly adhering to current lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Qualifications
To succeed in this high-performance industrial environment in Ville Saint-Laurent, you must demonstrate a blend of technical rigor and versatility:
Hold a DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Electromechanics of Automated Systems or an equivalent college diploma.
Possess around 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector, ideally within a high-volume environment.
Have an excellent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics as well as fluid (hydraulic and pneumatic) diagrams.
Be fluent in both French and English, both spoken and written, to effectively navigate technical documentation.
Demonstrate a high level of autonomy, strong resourcefulness, and sharp analytical skills.
Display strong interpersonal qualities, punctuality, and an impeccable sense of organization.
