Responsibilities
The duties of the electromechanics and automation service technician for the position in Ville Saint-Laurent are:
Basic PLC Programming: You will be responsible for the basic programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) from brands like Allen-Bradley and Siemens. These systems are at the heart of the production line, and your expertise will ensure their proper functioning and efficiency.
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: You will perform precise diagnostics on automated and electrical equipment to identify the source of failures. Your ability to solve problems will be essential to minimize production interruptions and maintain the performance of primarily pharmaceutical machinery.
Wiring and Electrical Panel Installation: You will participate in the installation, connection, and to some extent, the design of control panels. This responsibility covers the entire process, from planning to commissioning, and requires close attention to detail.
Technical Service and Support: You will provide technical support to clients and the team. Your role will be to answer questions, offer solutions, and share your expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and team efficiency.
Maintenance Reports: You will be responsible for writing detailed maintenance reports. These documents are essential for ensuring rigorous follow-up of interventions, planning preventive maintenance, and maintaining a complete history of the equipment.
Health and Safety: As safety is an absolute priority, you will be required to apply and respect health and safety rules at all times. Your vigilance and adherence to procedures ensure a safe working environment for you and your colleagues.
Qualifications

Hold a DEP in electromechanics, a DEC in electrical engineering, or an AEC in automation.
Have at least 3 years of significant experience as an automation service technician.

Owning a vehicle is essential for traveling to client sites.
