Responsibilities
The main tasks of the electronic technician include :
Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and reconditioning of high-precision electronic equipment and control modules.
Executing micro-soldering and delicate repair of surface components on complex printed circuit boards (PCB).
Carrying out calibration, cleaning, and meticulous inspection of automated and manual test benches.
Analyzing technical documentation, electronic schematics, and complex assembly plans.
Using specialized measuring instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters) to validate system compliance with strict standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this electronic technician position must possess :
Diploma of college studies (DEC) or professional studies (DEP) specialized in electronic engineering, maintenance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in assembly, micro-soldering, and electronic board repair in an industrial environment.
Functional bilingualism (French and English) due to frequent interactions with international stakeholders.
Great rigor, attention to detail, autonomy, and excellent technical analysis skills.
Printing rights and strict legal status of eligibility to work in Canada, currently residing in the Greater Montréal area.
