Responsibilities

Utilize Tajima DG/ML or similar industry-standard software to create high-quality embroidery designs from various source materials, including vector artwork.
Accurately convert vector files (AI, CDR, EPS) or PDFs into DST, EXP, and other relevant embroidery machine formats.
Create a wide range of embroidery designs, from simple text and logos to intricate multi-color patterns and fills.
Apply a strong understanding of stitch density and its relationship to various fabric types (e.g., knits, wovens, performance wear) to ensure optimal embroidery quality and prevent issues like puckering or distortion.
Adjust stitch types, underlay, pull compensation, and other parameters based on specific fabric characteristics.
Troubleshoot density issues and make necessary adjustments for accurate and professional results.
Leverage specific knowledge and experience to create embroidery files optimized for hat applications, considering cap construction, curvature, and hooping limitations.
Implement techniques to ensure designs stitch out smoothly and accurately on curved surfaces.
Demonstrate proficiency in CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator to prepare and manipulate vector artwork for digitizing, including cleaning up artwork, creating outlines, and ensuring proper file formatting.
Thoroughly review digitized files to ensure accuracy, proper stitch direction, efficient stitch counts, and overall design integrity.
Create stitch charts and production worksheets for embroidery operators.
Collaborate effectively with designers, the sales team, and production staff regarding design specifications and revisions.
Provide clear and concise instructions for embroidery operators.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Organize and maintain a well-structured library of digitized embroidery files, following established file naming conventions and backup procedures.
Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and software updates in the embroidery digitizing industry.

Qualifications
You'll need a minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional experience as an Embroidery Digitizer.
Proven expertise in Tajima DG/ML or similar professional embroidery digitizing software is essential.
Strong knowledge of CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator for vector file manipulation is required.
You should have a demonstrated ability to convert vector files into various embroidery formats (DST, EXP, etc.).
A comprehensive understanding of embroidery principles, including stitch types, density, underlay, and pull compensation, is crucial.
You'll need in-depth knowledge of how stitch density interacts with different fabric types to ensure quality.
Specific experience and knowledge in creating embroidery files for hats is a must.
