In this opportunity, you will be able to show creativity and help solve customer operational issues and interface with Engineering, Technical Support and remote Diagnostic Centre streams with Siemens Energy. You will be involved in the highest level of troubleshooting and failure investigation, taking an active role in supporting existing customers as well as proposing solutions to reduce the environmental impact of our products through cycle changes and the use of alternate fuels. To achieve this, you’ll work in multidisciplinary teams using commercial and proprietary tools to perform analysis of operational data throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
• You will investigate specific customer issues and provide recommendations regarding either issues that have arisen or proactive measures that can be taken to optimize operation of the equipment.
• You will perform analysis of operational data throughout the equipment’s lifecycle and provide recommendations to the Project Managers, Product Managers, Operational Support, Technical Support and Remote Diagnostics teams.
• You will develop and implement improvement in tools, methods and processes that provide automated analysis and early indication of changes to equipment performance as well as being able to determine the root cause more accurately.
• You will take part in root cause investigations.
• You will represent the Performance & Analytics skill and make recommendations to Project Managers, Product Managers, Technical Support Service and the Engineering community.
Qualifications
What You Bring (requirements):
• You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or another relevant discipline
• You are fluent in English and French.
• You are interested in thermodynamics, gas turbine performance principles and analytical methods.
• You have some knowledge in Python or other programming language. Knowledge of SQL or Snowflake for database queries would be advantageous.
• You have an inquisitive nature and pragmatic problem-solving skills
• You are motivated by contributing to multi-disciplinary teams and the development of innovative engineering solutions
• You have an interest in gas turbine technology and working to develop it to remain a useful technology throughout the energy transition
• Applied gas turbine performance and operability experience is advantageous
