Responsibilities
• Organize and oversee the detailed compliance verification of IMIT Equipment:
•Verify all IMIT equipment (drawing reviews and site inspections). Includes but is not limited to all end use devices (e.g., PCs, printers, phones, digital signage).
•Label and track equipment before deployment
•Verify alignment to the Statement of Requirements (SOR), construction drawings, shop drawings and architectural schematics.
•Label on-site telecommunications outlets as required.
• Co-ordinate delivery and installation of equipment for third party installers
• Record, and manage construction inconsistencies (deficiencies) and complete updates to the Fieldwire (RCH) / Procore (BH) systems (deficiency management software)
• Coordinate, track, and manage telecommunications outlets & configuration requirements for IMIT EUDs and clinical equipment.
• Review Aconex (RCH) (Procore (BH) (document mgmt. system) correspondence and meeting minutes for IMIT EUD related actions/impacts.
• Create a work breakdown structure and coordinate project implementation tasks in collaboration with other project teams, within the Redevelopment project and across the organization.
• Manage risk, issue, and scope change management processes related to the IMIT equipment.
• Engage as part of the IMIT team and work closely with other IMIT work stream leads.
• Liaise, collaborate, and work with Clinical Planning and Clinical Operations to ensure that the IMIT equipment remains aligned with clinical needs and priorities across the application portfolio.
• Ensure that the IMIT equipment delivery plans and schedules are coordinated and consistent with the construction design process, construction schedules and builder commissioning plans.
• Work with the IMIT Core Team on major scope change assessments, decision-making and implementation schedule changes.
• Coordinate planning and scheduling with the IT specialist teams, clinical resources, Multimedia (AV/VC) and Virtual Health.
• Work with the other Authority initiatives to coordinate and facilitate equipment for the BHRP Phase 1 and RCH ACT.
• Report project status and progress at scheduled points to the IT Delivery Manager, or representative.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Experience in working on coordinating IMIT related projects.
• Advanced level skills in Excel (e.g., experience with pivot tables) but no macro/Visual Basic will not be performed nor required.
• Open to rolling up your sleeves to dive into the details to uncover optimal solutions to the verification and compliance of IMIT equipment.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, changing / reactionary priorities environment.
• Able to efficiently prioritize and structure clear and unclear workloads.
• Good English language oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in coordinating IMIT equipment role such as inspecting, coordinating, labelling, and planning, on multiple deliveries simultaneously.
• Healthcare industry experience in an IMIT or clinical informatics capacity.
• Experience working on large scale construction projects, reading, and reviewing drawings in an IMIT role.
• Fieldwire or Procure system experience.
