Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and maintain Data Warehouse systems and DataMarts to support enterprise reporting and analytics
•Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product owners, architects, and stakeholders
•Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts to support effective and timely delivery
•Build and enhance ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Cognos Data Manager in a SQL Server environment
•Participate in testing activities to ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliability
•Investigate and resolve complex data warehouse and ETL issues
•Contribute to logical and physical data modelling efforts
•Optimize SQL queries and overall system performance
•Identify and implement process and system improvements to increase efficiency
•Support ongoing operations, including participation in a rotating on call schedule for incident response
•Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain a stable and high performing data environment
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience
•5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage, including developing, testing, and deploying ETL solutions in enterprise environments
•Strong experience with IBM Cognos Data Manager
•Proficiency with SQL Server, including query development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
•Experience with automated testing, including developing and executing test cases to validate ETL processes and ensure data quality
•Strong understanding of integration testing and test strategy execution
•Experience with logical and physical data modelling
•Proven ability to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
•Solid technical design and technical documentation skills
•Experience using Azure DevOps for requirement and work management
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross functional teams
•Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
