Responsibilities
Program Rockwell PLCs using RSLogix and FactoryTalk for gas and water treatment systems.
Configure smart instrumentation and devices including VFDs, network switches, and HMI panels.
Select and size motors, compressors, pumps, and instrumentation such as pressure transmitters, RTDs, and flow meters.
Create wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and panel layouts for both power and control systems.
Support troubleshooting and testing during system build and commissioning phases.
Provide technical guidance to field technicians and electricians during on-site installations.
Travel to customer sites across North America for commissioning and service support.
Monitor and troubleshoot systems remotely to ensure reliable operation.
Qualifications
Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of PLC/HMI programming experience in Canada or the U.S.
Proficiency in Rockwell/Allen Bradley (RSLogix, FactoryTalk), network and VFD configuration.
Familiarity with instrumentation (flow meters, pressure sensors, control valves).
Experience in gas processing, water treatment, or industrial automation environments.
Knowledge of hazardous area classifications is an asset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related industrial software platforms.
