Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through research, networking, and cold calling; maintain a robust pipeline to exceed sales goals.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, providing product demonstrations and ensuring long-term satisfaction.
- Territory Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Woodstock-to-Toronto region, optimizing daily travel for maximum customer face-time.
- Sales Execution: Lead pricing and contract negotiations, overcome objections, and efficiently process customer orders.
- Technical Reporting: Consistently track all activities, visits, and pipeline status within the CRM (e.g., NetSuite).
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on competitor activities and market trends, providing feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven success in outside sales, B2B sales, or a similar field-based role.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the manufacturing, industrial, or construction sectors is highly preferred.
- Sales Acumen: Strong ability to prospect, qualify, and close deals using various channels (in-person, phone, and digital).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with a "customer-first" attitude and persuasive negotiation abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with regular daily travel and occasional overnight stays.
- Location: The ideal candidate will live centrally between Woodstock and Toronto to effectively manage the territory.
