Responsibilities
-Carry out the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment directly at customer sites.
-Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
-Work on large-scale Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines that integrate European safety systems.
-Provide quality technical support by traveling mainly in the greater Quebec City area and across Canada, with occasional visits to the United States.
-Use and interpret technical diagrams and drawings to ensure precise and compliant interventions.
-Act as a technical expert and company representative with clients.
Qualifications
-You hold a DEP or a DEC in electromechanics, mechatronics, or a similar discipline.
-You have a minimum of two to five years of relevant experience in technical assistance, preferably in the machine tool sector.
-Bilingualism, both spoken and written (French and English), is essential for this position.
-You have solid and mandatory skills in industrial electricity; mastery of mechanics and hydraulics is also required.
-You are skilled in using measuring instruments, especially a multimeter, for electrical troubleshooting.
-As a traveling Service Technician, you demonstrate great autonomy and are willing to travel frequently.
