Responsibilities
Support the month-end close process by accurately preparing journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and foreign exchange adjustments. Perform account reconciliations and process reclassifications to maintain clean general ledgers. Monitor financial balances and actively resolve system discrepancies across DFIN Canada entities. Ensure the overall integrity and accuracy of financial records during period-end reporting. Collaborate closely with US-based colleagues and finance partners to maintain smooth operational workflows.
Qualifications
Education & Background: Strong background/degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: Experience in financial reconciliation and general ledger accounting required. (2-3Years of experience ).
Certifications: CPA designation is considered a strong asset.
Languages: French and English is required as you will be dealing with client, supplier, and colleagues who are outside Quebec.
Software Knowledge: Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
