Responsibilities
-Lead and support month-end processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
-Prepare and distribute financial statements with clear commentary
-Analyze key financial assumptions such as distribution rates, CAPEX, and income tax
-Provide accurate data and insights to support decision-making
-Participate in interim and year-end audits
-Assist in drafting regulatory filings and supporting documentation
-Draft accounting policy decisions in accordance with US GAAP
-Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning
-Continuously improve reporting tools and financial models
-Foster versatility across all Finance Team functions
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
-Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
-Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting
-Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)
-Strong analytical and synthesis skills
-Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines independently or in a team
-High attention to detail and strong communication skills
-Advanced Excel skills and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Nice-to-Haves:
-Experience with Oracle and Hyperion
-Knowledge of Federal and Quebec tax compliance regimes
-Familiarity with US GAAP accounting policies
