Responsibilities
Maintain and manage agency payroll budgets, benefits tracking, and headcount allocations; evaluate staffing levels against client profitability matrices.
Perform monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis, post payroll-related journal entries, conduct ADP-to-GL account reconciliations, and handle retainer reconciliations.
Participate in monthly re-forecasting cycles, fee costings, and ad-hoc client business analysis.
Partner directly with agency leaders and executive management to communicate financial performance, guide staffing adjustments, and manage client business needs.
Utilize financial systems (Dynamics 365, TM1, MediaOcean) to analyze data structures and support client profitability reporting.
Qualifications
3–5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, or Corporate Accounting. (Professional services or corporate backgrounds are welcome—media agency experience is an asset, but not required).
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Commerce.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data manipulation, financial modeling, complex formulas, dealing with large and complex data sets). Experience with Dynamics 365, TM1, Hyperion, or MediaOcean/DDS is a strong plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to present insights to agency executives and functional heads.
Comfort working with large datasets, navigating dynamic team environments, and managing monthly deadline cycles.
