Job Title:: Financial Controller
Location: Montreal (Hybrid)
Salary : Up to 115K depending on experience
Duration : 12 month contract + possibility of permanence

Responsibilities
The Financial Controller will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, reporting, and compliance to support the company's growth and financial stability.
- Participate in the company's annual budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, to identify trends and provide insights to senior management.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability.
- Implement cost control measures and optimize financial processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Other related tasks
Qualifications
- CPA designation, a considerable asset
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to take initiative
- Unlimited commitment to continuous improvement.
- Bilingual French and English, oral and written
- Strong work ethic and great attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
